Dr. Antoine J. Goffin is a respected public servant, military veteran, law enforcement professional, and faith leader based in Gary, Indiana. With an unwavering commitment to community transformation and personal empowerment, Dr. Goffin has spent his life serving both his country and his community through diverse roles in ministry, education, government, and security leadership.
Dr. Goffin began his formal theological education at the esteemed Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois, where he completed his undergraduate studies with a focus on pastoral ministry and biblical studies. His academic journey continued at Liberty University, where he earned a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree, equipping him with a deep theological foundation and practical leadership tools to address contemporary challenges in faith communities.
In his spiritual calling, Dr. Goffin serves as the Senior Pastor of City on a Hill Church NWI in Gary, Indiana. Under his leadership, the church has experienced revitalization, expanding its outreach, discipleship programs, and community partnerships. He is the author of Embracing Grace, a Bible study guide that helps individuals grow in faith, navigate life’s trials, and understand the transformative power of God’s mercy.
Dr. Goffin's service extends far beyond the pulpit. He is a military servicemember with a record of honorable service, and a federal employee whose leadership and professionalism have impacted national operations and local governance. His combined military and civilian service highlight his disciplined, mission-driven mindset and his commitment to protecting and uplifting others.
He has also served in law enforcement as a sworn reserve officer with the Gary Police Department, and was appointed Director of Security for the Merrillville Community School Corporation. In this role, Dr. Goffin worked to implement proactive safety measures and foster secure learning environments for students and staff.
Additionally, Dr. Goffin is a board member of the Gary Public Transportation Corporation, where he contributes to the development of equitable, accessible transit solutions for residents across Northwest Indiana.
